Privacy notice

Last updated: 6 October 2026

This notice covers our coming-soon website, catalogue launch waiting list and enquiries sent through the contact links.

Who we are

Amphonic Music Limited is responsible for the personal information described here. Our company number is 01002364 and our registered office is 3rd Floor Paternoster House, 65 St Paul’s Churchyard, London, EC4M 8AB, United Kingdom.

For privacy enquiries, contact support@amphonic.com or write to our registered office.

What we collect and why

If you join the waiting list, we collect your email address and records of your signup, confirmation and subscription preferences. Mailchimp also processes technical details associated with signup, such as your IP address and the time of your request, to operate the form and help prevent abuse.

We use your confirmed subscription to send updates about the launch of the Amphonic catalogue. We rely on your consent. Signing up is optional, and does not subscribe you to unrelated marketing. You can withdraw consent through the unsubscribe link in our launch emails or by contacting us. Withdrawal does not affect processing that was lawful before you withdrew.

If you email us, we use your contact details and message to respond to your enquiry. Our legitimate interest is answering music searches and licensing enquiries and managing our business correspondence. Where necessary to prepare a contract you request, we process information to take those steps.

Our website host processes technical request details, such as IP addresses and browser information, to deliver the page and audio and protect the service. Our legitimate interest is operating a reliable, secure website.

We do not use email-open or link-click tracking to measure engagement with our catalogue launch emails. Mailchimp may still process delivery and technical security information, including temporary link redirects for abuse prevention.

Who processes information

Netlify hosts this website and its audio previews. Mailchimp, operated by The Rocket Science Group LLC, manages our waiting list and launch emails. Our business email service processes messages you send to support@amphonic.com. Information is available to authorised Amphonic personnel who need it to manage these services and respond to you. We may disclose information where legally required.

Our providers may process information outside the UK, including in the United States. Their data-processing terms provide safeguards for international transfers, including the UK Extension to the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and standard contractual clauses with the UK addendum where applicable. See Netlify’s data-processing agreement and Mailchimp’s data-processing addendum. Contact us for information about the safeguards that apply to your data.

How long we keep information

We keep active waiting-list information while preparing and sending catalogue launch updates. We remove the launch-only list within three months after the catalogue launches, unless you have separately agreed to ongoing communications. If you unsubscribe earlier, we stop launch emails and retain only the minimum record needed to honour your opt-out and demonstrate how we handled your consent.

We retain enquiries for as long as needed to answer them and manage related licensing or contractual matters, including any applicable legal obligations. Technical records are kept for the periods needed to operate, troubleshoot and protect the service, under our hosting provider’s retention arrangements.

Cookies and similar technologies

This page does not include advertising pixels or visitor analytics, and our own page code does not store cookies or local-storage identifiers. The audio previews are served from this website.

When you submit the signup form, your browser opens Mailchimp’s hosted response page. Mailchimp operates those pages and may use cookies or similar technologies there. Its cookie statement explains those technologies and choices.

Your rights

Depending on the circumstances, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of your personal information, and object to processing based on legitimate interests. You can withdraw consent to launch emails at any time. Contact support@amphonic.com to exercise these rights.

We do not use this information to make automated decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects on you.

You may complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office. We would also welcome the opportunity to address your concern directly.
